Whether you ever heard of Pili puppet show(霹雳布袋戏Pīlì bùdài xì)? Strange name, isn’t it? It’s named “Pili” because every episode has “pili” in its title. This folk-art form is performed by many kinds of puppets – some of them are cool, some intelligent, and some funny.
Unlike the traditional puppet shows, Pili puppet show uses state-of-the-art(if you describe something as state-of-the-art, you mean that it is the best available because it has been made using the most modern techniques and technology) animation to help present its fighting art. The delicate design of the appearance and characteristics of each puppet has made Pili puppet show a well-known entertainment act in Taiwan(a government on the island of Taiwan established in 1949 by Chiang Kai-shek after the conquest of mainland China by the communists led by Mao Zedong).
